- Open the portal, read the instructions in brief and select the link to start the application.
- Choose Chile as the country, and CHILE-SANTIAGO as the mission (based on your consular jurisdiction).
- Read the options carefully and choose the purpose of your visit.
- Note down the temporary application ID, in case you wish to stop and continue later.
- Enter your personal information as in your current passport. Enter your Chilean RUT number where asked, and any easily visible identification mark (face or hands).
- Citizenship: if you had a different nationality before and acquired your current citizenship later, choose “Naturalization”; if you were born in Chile, choose “By Birth”. Select “Save and continue”.
- Enter your address. It must match the supporting documents you will submit at the Embassy. Select “Save and continue”.
- Enter your family and profession details, and the details of previous visits and of the SAARC countries visited (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka). Read and tick each box carefully. Select “Save and continue”.
- Read all the security questions carefully and answer them. Tick the box to agree.
- Upload your photograph: choose the picture from your computer, upload it and crop it as per the guidelines, then proceed.
- Review all the information carefully. If everything is correct, select “Continue”; to make changes, select “Modify”. No changes can be made after submission; to correct anything later you must make a new application.
- Note your application ID (starting with CHLSV), save the file and print it. Sign it and submit it with the supporting documents and fee. See the documents for your visa type on Visa Services.
