On 27 July 2026, participated in the "AGCID's 2025 Participatory Public Accountability Session and 2026 Progress Update" organised by the Chilean Agency for International Development Cooperation (AGCID) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile. The presentation was led by Mr Henry Julien O'Farrill, CEO of AGCID, who highlighted the Agency's key achievements, ongoing initiatives and priorities in international development cooperation.
On 24 July 2026, Ambassador Abhilasha Joshi and team paid a protocol call on Mr. Álvaro González, Undersecretary of Chile's Ministry of Mining. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss strengthening India-Chile cooperation in the mining sector, with a particular focus on facilitating Indian companies interested in investing in Chile's mining industry. On 29 June 2026, the Embassy participated in a virtual meeting with its partners in the Government of Uttar Pradesh to discuss the 4th Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, scheduled to be held from 25-29 September 2026. The meeting provided an overview of the trade show and its potential to strengthen international business partnerships. As one of India's premier B2B trade exhibitions, UPITS will showcase opportunities across sectors including agriculture, food processing, textiles, engineering, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, IT and handicrafts.

The Embassy of India, Santiago celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on 26 January 2026 at the Embassy premises with great enthusiasm and pride. Ambassador visited the historic city of Valdivia at the invitation of the regional government and had the honour to meet with the regional authorities, including the Mayor. Discussions were held to build closer relations with India including fostering academic collaborations.
Indian film delegation of producers, directors and actors including Vivek Singhania, Sameer Dharmadhikari and Sanjay Khanduri visited Chile under ProChile invitation and met the Ambassador to discuss collaborative opportunities in the audiovisual sector and synergies between both countries.
On 07 March 2025, Embassy marked the “International Women's Day 2025” with a vibrant tribute to Indian women pioneers across diverse fields. An inspiring portrait exhibition showcased the remarkable contributions of Indian women in science, politics, arts, and sports.
