BUYER SELLER MEET BY APPARELS EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL

The Embassy of India is pleased to inform that a 30-member trade delegation from 14 companies of the Apparels Export Promotion Council (AEPC) will visit Chile shortly.

India's textile industry enjoys a prominent position due to the fundamental role played in terms of industrial production, generation of employment, and earnings on account of exports. The apparels industry is rich and varied, and it is made up of yarns, knitwear, and an intensive and sophisticated industrial sector. Its relation with India's ancient culture and traditions give a unique advantage to it as compared to the industries of other countries, providing it with an uncommon margin to satisfy the needs of a vast variety of market segments, both at domestic and global level.

This 14-company delegation will exhibit their products at Prieto Bulnes Ballroom, Hotel Crowne Plaza, from 10.00 to 18.00 hrs. on 17th and 18th March, 2014. Interested companies and buyers may get in touch with Ms. Maria Elena Cobo, Santiago Chamber of Commerce, on Tel. No. 23607109 or Email mcobo@ccs.cl, or with Ms. Viviana García, Embassy of India, Tel. No. 22284141 or Email com@embajadaindia.cl

The exhibition cum Buyer Seller Meet will be inaugurated by H.E. the Ambassador of India on Monday 17th March, 2014 at 09.30 hrs. at Prieto Bulness Ballroom, Hotel Crowne Plaza.
