INDIA INTERNATIONAL HANDWOVEN FAIR, IIHF'2014
The fourth edition of IIHF is being organised by Handloom Export Promotion Council from 12-14 March, 2014 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India.
Products ranking from home textiles, made-ups, silk products, floor coverings, Real Madras Handckerchiefs, Sarongs/Kailies, Woollen Handlooms, Jute Handlooms, fashion accessories like Scarves, Stoles from various States of India would be displayed at the IIHF. Buyers would be able to source the entire spectrum of "Brand India" products at IIHF.
Buyers selected and approved by the Fair Committee will be eligible for the following complementary package:
- Restricted economy class onward and return airfare.
- Hotel accommodation for three nights during the fair.
The guidelines for reimbursement of air fare and hotel accommodation are as follows:
1. Only foreign passport holders are eligible to apply for the complimentary package.
2. All buyers should be in the home textile business for at least 3 years.
3. The ticket offered will be non-endorsable, non-transferable, restricted economy ticket.
4. Each company will be entitled to get one restricted economy onward an return airfare for one person only.
5. The air ticket has to be purchased by the buyer at his/her own cost. The buyer will be reimbursed the cost of his/her air ticket on the last day of the fair at the fair venue (Fair Secretariat) on submission of the following documents: E-ticket copy, copy of invoice of E-ticket, one passport size photograph, passport copy, visa copy, form No. 1 to be provided by HEPC during fair days on arrival at the fair venue, feedback form to be provided by HEPC.
6. The Ministry of Textiles has given an upper limit for airfare reimbursement amount of US$ 1400.
7. The components for which support shall be provided are complementary three nights hotel stay (only lodging) with complementary breakfast and airport pick up and drop.
8. This offer is limited only to CEO/Buyers and will be on First-come-First served basis subject to buyer's elegibility criteria as stated.
Obligations on the part of the buyer:
1. The buyer shall give a report of the exhibitor they met, products of interest; actual buying done or they intend to place order.
2. The buyer may be interviewed by the press and media and also attend photo sessions.
3. Items other than room tariff, room taxes, breakfast, shall be charged directly by the hotel and payable as per actual consumption by the buyer such as room services, laundry, business centre usages etc.
4. The buyer understands that once they register for coming to India to participate in India International Handwoven Fair and once Council confirms their participation, their details will be circulated to participants.
