Passport Services
Essential Basic Information:
1.All applications submitted to the Embassy of India should have attached a bank receipt showing that the required fee amount (as shown in the Schedule of Fee) has been deposited in the Embassy of India’s Bank Account which is as follows:-

2. Please note that no cash/cheque/credit cards/ debit cards or any other form of payments will be accepted by the Embassy
3. It may please be noted that fees, once paid, will not be refunded, even if the application is withdrawn or service is denied/not rendered.
4. When submitting your application to the Embassy, please fill in all the information online in the appropriate form, upload necessary photos and then take a print out of the form, sign it
and bring the hard copy to the Embassy with all supporting documents (originals as well as photocopies) including the payment Receipt.
5. Please note that the any application which is incomplete in any way will not be accepted. Therefore, please check that you have filled in all columns correctly, signed wherever
required, and attached all required supporting documents.
PASSPORT AND RELATED SERVICES
6. The Embassy of India, Santiago has been integrated with the Global Passport Sewa Project (GPSP). Therefore, Indian Citizens residing in Chile are henceforth required to apply for the services listed below only through the link: https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in
(i) New Passport
(ii) Re-issue of Passport
(iii) Issue of PCC
(iv) Emergency Certificate
7. Steps to be followed to apply online:
(i) Open the link: https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in
(ii) Select the region as Americas and then country as Chile from where you are applying for passport/miscellaneous service
(iii) Click on User login/Registration link to. You will get an activation email link in your email after successful sign-up.
(iv) Activate your account by clicking on the link received on your registered email address and using the option User Login, login with your registered email ID/User Id and Password.
(v) After successfully logging into the portal, click on the service that is required by you to access the appropriate form and proceed with filling in of the form.
(vi) Take print out and submit your application within 30 days to the Embassy.
How to apply:
8. Re-issue of fresh Passport:
(i) Fill-in online passport application visiting the link: https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/
(All the columns in the form should be completed)
(ii) Take print out of the duly filled in online application, sign in the box, paste recent photograph (size 2'' x 2'' with light background with 80%
face area and showing shoulder).
(iii) Attach self- attested copy of your passport (first and last pages) and copy of Chilean RUT.
(iv) Send your original passport along.
(v) For Minor’s passport, attach copies of his/her passport and parent’s passport.
(vi) Attach fee payment receipt after depositing the appropriate fee in Embassy’s account. Fee schedule is available on the Embassy’s website.
(vii) A letter giving reason for reissue of passport especially when change in passport particulars is requested.
(viii) Provide your full postal address/contact no for despatch of the passport to you after issue.
(ix) The above mentioned documents may be sent to the Embassy by Post or delivered physically.
(x) Passports are re-issued on expiry of its validity(can be applied any time if validity remains less than a year), on exhaustion of visa pages, damage or loss and change in appearance or particulars.
9. Issue of PCC
(i) Fill-in online PCC application visiting the link: https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/
(ii) Take print out of the duly filled in online application, sign in the box, paste recent photograph (size 2'' x 2'' with light background with 80%
face area and showing shoulder).
(iii) Self-attested copy of Indian passport (first and last pages)
(iv) Copy of your Chilean RUT/Visa
(v) Attach fee payment receipt after depositing the appropriate fee in Embassy’s account. Fee schedule is available on the Embassy’s website.
(vi) Your full postal address with contact number in order to post/deliver the PCC to you.
(vii) The above mentioned documents may be sent to the Embassy by Post or delivered physically.
(viii) The PCC will be issued by the Embassy only after receipt of clearance online from the relevant police authorities in India.
10. Issue of Emergency Certificate
(i) Fill-in online PCC application visiting the link: https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/
(ii) Take print out of the duly filled in online application and submit to the Embassy along with supporting documents.
(iii) Police report with english translation in case of loss of passport.
(iv) Recent photograph (size 3.5x3.5 cm), light background with 80%
face area and showing shoulder).
(v) Copy of lost passport and any other Indian document for verification purpose
(vi) A letter explaining the circumstances of loss of passport
(vii) Submit the above mentioned documents in the Embassy.
